8. Customs, Import Duties and Taxes

8.1
All orders are shipped under Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) terms. This means the customer is responsible for all import-related costs and obligations in the destination country.

8.2
These responsibilities may include:

  • Payment of import duties, VAT, or other applicable taxes

  • Handling and clearance fees charged by customs or shipping carriers

  • Compliance with local import regulations and product requirements

8.3
Victoria Vancouver is not considered the importer of record. Ownership of the goods transfers to the customer once the order has been shipped. We are not responsible for delays, confiscations, or penalties resulting from non-compliance with import regulations.

8.4
While we provide standard shipping documentation, we cannot guarantee that it meets all local import requirements. Customers are responsible for ensuring that ordered products can legally be imported.

8.5
Customers agree to indemnify Victoria Vancouver against any costs, damages, or penalties arising from failure to comply with import obligations.

8.6
We recommend contacting your local customs office prior to placing an order to avoid unexpected charges or delays.

9. CESOP Compliance

In accordance with EU regulations effective from 2024, payment service providers may record transaction data within the CESOP system. Victoria Vancouver complies with these legal requirements.

Any defects or issues must be reported in writing within 14 days of discovery.

Returned products must be in their original condition and packaging.

We aim to respond within 14 days. If more time is needed, you will be informed accordingly.
